The University supports a number of groups comprising engaged alumni, parents and friends who are focused on various aspects of academics and operations. These groups are advisory to the president and are staffed by senior members of the administration. Members are selected for their valued expertise in the area of interest.

Board of Governors, School of Engineering

The Board of Governors provides oversight and counsel regarding the programs and affairs of the School of Engineering, and serves in an advisory capacity to the President, Provost, and the Dean of the School of Engineering.

Board of Governors, The Watson School of International and Public Affairs

The Board provides guidance on the strategic direction and priorities of the Watson School. As the School advances its mission to improve the human condition through research, teaching, and engagement with the world’s most pressing public policy challenges, the Board plays a critical role in shaping its long-term vision and expanding its global impact.

The School of Public Health Board of Governors considers long-term policy and planning issues, strategic directions, and efficacy of implementation concerning the School of Public Health. By supporting the school's mission and vision, the Board of Governors upholds a commitment to transforming our local community, the nation and the world by training future public health leaders.
